Dr. Donald Patrick Lim is a corporate executive, entrepreneur, educator, military officer, author, and creative whose career has been defined by an uncommon belief: that the most meaningful innovations happen at the intersection of disciplines rather than within them.
While many leaders build expertise in a single field, Dr. Lim has deliberately pursued a path that bridges business, technology, public service, education, and the creative industries. He currently serves as President of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP), the country's premier organization of CEOs and business leaders, while also serving as President and Chief Operating Officer of DITO CME Holdings Corporation.
Recognized as one of the country's leading digital transformation advocates, he has helped establish entirely new industries by founding and leading the Blockchain Council of the Philippines, the Global AI Council Philippines, and the Cybersecurity Council of the Philippines. He is likewise the founder of Philippine Blockchain Week, one of Southeast Asia's largest technology conferences.
His passion for developing future leaders extends beyond the boardroom. As a professor and executive educator, he teaches artificial intelligence, blockchain, cybersecurity, digital transformation, marketing, innovation, and leadership to students, executives, and organizations. In public service, he serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Philippine Air Force Reserve and was recognized as the Philippine Air Force Reservist Officer of the Year.
Dr. Lim is also an accomplished author, columnist, and songwriter. His books explore the future of artificial intelligence, blockchain, cybersecurity, and leadership, while his creative work reflects his belief that imagination is just as essential to leadership as strategy and execution.
Whether building companies, creating industries, mentoring future leaders, serving in uniform, or writing books and music, Dr. Lim has consistently challenged conventional boundaries. His work reflects a simple philosophy: leadership is not about mastering one domain, but about connecting ideas from many disciplines to create new possibilities for society.
