Chairman

Atty. Lim is the Senior Legal Counsel at ACCRALAW.

Hi is a Past President of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX), a Past President of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) and a  former president of the Shareholders Association of the Philippines (SharePhil).  

He previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) from 2004 to 2010.  Currently, he is on the board of a number of public companies.  Atty. Lim also served as the Co-Chairperson of the Rules on e-Commerce and Notaries Public sub-committees of the Supreme Court and is presently  a member of the sub-committees on Commercial Courts, Evidence, and DNA Evidence.   

Atty. Lim is  a law professor of the Ateneo Law School and the San Beda College Graduate School of Law, a professional lecturer of the Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA), and the current Vice-Chair of its Commercial Law Department.  Mr. Lim has  also authored several legal books/articles that were published in both local and international publications.

Vice Chairperson  

Benedicta “Dick” Du-Baladad is a multi-awarded accountant-lawyer and the Founding Partner, Chair, and CEO of Du-Baladad and Associates. She is a prominent leader whose expertise is evident throughout her 30 years in the practice; with her repertoire spanning from being a former official of the country’s tax authority to head of the tax department of a leading auditing firm.

Dick is also a recognized business leader with various directorship positions in various organizations and Foreign Chambers. Her expertise makes her a valuable and much-sought-after resource speaker often invited to seminars and fora organized by prestigious associations such as the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Management Association of the Philippines, and the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines, among others. She is also currently a professor of Taxation at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) and the University of the Philippines (UP).

Her clients and stakeholders benefit greatly from her knowledge and proficiency in high-end tax advisory, tax disputes and refund claims, transfer pricing, and advocacy. Her sector expertise includes banking and financial institutions where she has authored 3 books on the taxation of banks, insurance, and other financial intermediaries.

She was named National Leader for Southeast Asia-Corporate Tax in the 2022 edition of Who's Who Legal (WWL) Thought Leaders and recognized as the Tax Dispute Resolution Lawyer by Women in Business Law (2021). She is consistently ranked by Asia Business Law Journal as one of the Philippines’ top 100 lawyers and as the only Elite Tax Practitioner in the Philippines by Asia Profiles. She is a recipient of the CPA Centenary Award of Excellence from the Board of Accountancy and has been awarded as a Distinguished Alumna of the University of Santo Tomas. And just recently, she was named one of the Top 15 Female Lawyers in Asia 2024 by Asian Legal Business.

Dick’s community involvement is done through the BDB Law Foundation which she founded in 2014 to help address the gaps in humanitarian, cultural, and socio-civic developments by focusing on projects for improving the quality of education, sustained livelihood, clean environment and better health. The Foundation, in coordination with DECS, has already built several school buildings under its build-a-school program, located in remote places in the country.

President    

Mr. Pascual serves on the Advisory Council of Prime Energy Resources Development and was the 2020 president of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX), 2021 chairman of the FINEX Research & Development Foundation, Inc. and 2022 chairman of the FINEX Academy, Inc. He also currently serves as Treasurer of the Integrity Initiative.  

He was  CFO, Vice President - Finance & Treasurer and Chief Risk Officer of Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation and has held various senior positions in the Shell group of companies both locally and overseas.   

Among the awards and citations he received are: the CFO of the Year from ING and the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines in 2014, the Professional Degree Award for Industrial Engineering from the University of the Philippines College of Engineering and U.P. Alumni Engineers in 2015, and the Global Management Accounting Hall of Fame Award from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (Australia) in 2017

Compliance Officer

Atty. Lopez is currently the President of the Energy Lawyers Association of the Philippines and a Vice President at publicly listed First Gen Corporation. 

A lawyer and industrial engineer with a master’s degree in finance, Atty. Lopez has served in various capacities in both the government and private sectors. He was the Chief of Staff of Senator Sergio R. Osmeña III in the 14th and 15th Congress of the Philippines and has been involved in legislation, congressional oversight, and legislative inquiry work in energy, banking, finance, governance, public corporations, agriculture, environment and natural resources, and social justice. 

With over thirty years of extensive experience in the energy industry, his expertise is multifaceted.  A father of three, Atty. Lopez takes special interest in the confluence of energy development, climate justice, and sustainability principles in view of building a better future for the younger generations.

Membership Committee Chairman 

Mr. Drilon is presently the Vice Chairman & President of the Institute for Solidarity in Asia (ISA), and Governor of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP).. 

He is the Vice Chairman of the Center for Excellence in Governance (CEG), Senior Executive Director of the PwC Executive Coaching Group, Board Adviser & Founding President of the Iloilo Economic Development Foundation (ILEDF), and Co-Founder of the Shareholders Association of the Philippines (SharePhil)

Among his previous roles are: Former Independent Director of the Metrobank Group; Former Chairman of Keyland Corporation and Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD); Former CEO/COO of Ortigas & Co., Ayala Land Subsidiaries CHI and CPVDC, Jardine Davies Sugar, Philippine Fuji Xerox and Philtranco/FMMC Group companies;  

He is an alumnus of the University of the Philippines, University of the East and the University of Asia & the Pacific.

He authored two books: Patriots on the Street and Crafting Your Own Roadmap

Audit Committee Chairman

Currently the Chairman of the Energy Lawyers Association of the Philippines, Mr. Maniego is a professional industrial engineer, ASEAN engineer, lawyer, economist, management executive and consultant, and professorial lecturer with more than 50 years of experience in senior executive positions in the energy, metals, beverage, semiconductor, IT, munitions, construction, & venture capital sectors and the academe.   
Served as Chairman of the National Renewable Energy Board from 2010 to 2016, during which almost 2.000 MW of RE sources were installed. Currently, chairman of the Energy Lawyers Association of the Philippines; trustee of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD); adviser to the Climate Change Commission, the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities, and the UP Engineering Research & Development Foundation; lecturer in the Ateneo School of Government,  UP Law Center and ICD; director of Armscor Global Defense Inc. and RASLAG Corp.; and member MAP, IBP, UPAA, UPAE, UPERDFI, BEAI, etc.

Trustee

Mr. Lwin is a director on the Board of the American Chamber of Commerce (Philippines).

He works for RELX, a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers. He currently holds the position of Managing Director for RELX | Reed Elsevier Philippines, a knowledge and professional shared services organization based in the Philippines.  RELX | Reed Elsevier also supports solutions to prevent financial crime and manage regulatory compliance and, in the Philippines, sponsors the Lexis Nexis Rule of Law Foundation advocating for greater accessibility, transparency, and equality of legal systems.   

He spent 20+ years as a senior executive for multinational companies based in the Philippines and SouthEast Asia, as well as management experience in the USA and as an officer in the US Marine Corps.  He has MBA and MA degrees from George Washington University and a BA degree from the University of Texas at Austin.   

He is also a Director on the boards of  Pacific Cross Insurance and Reed Elsevier Shared Services, Inc.

Trustee

Ms. Magleo is a certified public accountant and is the co-founder and CFO  of Paynamics Technologies, Inc.   

During her career, she held various executive finance and management posts in  Philippine domestic oil companies, having been Vice President-Finance and ultimately, President of an independent oil player for 21 years.   

She is a member (and former Director) of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) and sits on the Board of DIC Philippines. She is an active member of various religious and civic organizations.
